About ALGNV
- The ALGNV – Latin America NGV Association is a regional entity, with the following objectives:
- Contribute to the NGV regional development, through understandings with multilateral organizations, such as MERCOSUR, Andean Pact, OEA-Organization of American States, and other existing regional similar entities
- Support existing national NGV associations, or stimulate the creation of those entities, in areas where justifiable
- Promote the production of standards, regulations and regional guidelines to support the expansion of the NGV utilization
- Regional Standards harmonization applied to NGVs
- Create some information networking between suppliers and distributors of natural gas and bio-methane, equipment and components NGV suppliers, fuelling distributors and governmental and private entities
- The ALGNV activities will be exclusively focused to cover all Latin America geographical area
- Interface with IANGV - International Association of Natural Gas Vehicles and other regional associations

On May 19th, it has been published a revision of the NGV Regulation in Venezuela, signed by 5 different government ministries.
